Here's what I'd like to do...

I have a few dozen short Word files (about 50 lines in length, which I can convert to simple .TXT files if necessary) that I want to be able to open up when needed just to view on my BB. I don't need to edit them on the BB at all, only view them as reference files.

Is there an easy way to do this on an 8320? Is there a free app that will do it easily?

Docs 2 Go is part of OS 4.5.x or higher. I agree it would be a good free option. Install from Desktop Manager or download from DataViz website - PDA Software - BlackBerry Software, iPhone Software, iPod touch Software, Palm OS Software, webOS Software, Google Android Software, Windows Mobile Software, Windows Smartphone Software, Symbian S60 Software - Developed By DataViz.

If it came to it, I suppose you could paste the text into Notepad� but a few dozen files - ugh!
