Since the 9900 / 9930 is a touch screen, sometimes it would be very helpful to have the number keys (with the little letters underneath) on the screen itself. This option would be very beneficial, especially when your trying to make a new call and the phone number uses letters to spell out something, instead of using numbers.

I don't think the phone has this option. Is there an app that provides this option?

Cant remember which key, but all you have to do is dial from the keyboard and press either the "shift" or "alt" key while you are spelling the name. Try it with 1-800-CALL-ATT and you will see what I mean - long time BB feature!!!

EDIT: I checked - it's the alt key: press <1800> then press and hold <alt> then <callatt> and you will dial 18002255288

Oh...my...god...i've had a BB for a while and always got so frustrated with phone numbers that only gave words and not numbers, trying to figure out what to dial, and usually giving up.... I had no idea this existed!

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!
