    My Telus voicemail sucks.

I hate having to call a number and then fiddle around with phone menu's. I hate how you can only save 3 messages and they only last a few days. And I really hate having to pay every month.

Why aren't there numerous voicemail apps, with intuitive visual displays and unlimited storage?

It seems so stupid that such a simple and mandatory service can't be handled by a "SMART" phone.

It's more the fact that you are in Canada than it is that apps are not available... There are many solutions in the US.

I use Youmail, but again, it may not work in the GWN.

I use visual voicemail, I can keep any number of messages, I have one from 2008. It's easy to use, don't need to enter my password every time and don't need to dial any numbers just click the icon and it pops up. I can fast forward, rewind or pause the message at any time if I need to.

It costs, 1.99 a month with Verizon.
