If put the signature on the website and it will show every time you post. You don't even need the signature from the app.

On what website? It's already on the CB site and always shows when I post from my PC... like I am now.

It always used to show when I posted from the CB Forums app, but stopped when I changed my avatar to a .gif a couple of days ago.
Could that be the reason why?

I don't think that would cause an issue. The signature is appended to the message you type. Did you check your settings?

Well something has caused it to stop showing when I post from the app, and the only thing I've done differently is changed my avatar to an animated .gif

I understand that the signature is appended to the message I type, but it doesn't show anymore when I post from the app... and there are NO settings to check.

What do you mean there are no settings? Go to the homescreen where the main options are and select your BB Menu Key. There will be settings there

OK you clearly don't understand my issue, so I'll explain it again in more detail...

I have a signature set up on my account on the CB website under User CP. This signature shows below my posts when I post from my PC.

From the day the CB Forums app launched, if I posted from it and viewed that post on my PC, that same signature appeared below my posts. This stopped happening last week, and all I want to know is why?

I am not talking about the signature the CB Forums app creates (Sent from my 9900 using Tapatalk), I'm talking about the one I have set up on the CB website. I have made no changes to the app settings, or my account settings on CB. There are NO settings in the app relating to my website signature.

I have been through my previous posts, and my signature stopped showing on 7th June. I did nothing different on that day. Any idea why this has happened?

Possibly the admins updated the tapatalk forum plugin and the plugin disables seeing signatures from the website or they modified the plugin themselves to do that.

Any chance it can be undone?

That was one of the features I loved about the app... the fact nobody could tell whether you'd posted from your phone, or from your PC.

I don't know if it can be. I asked the plugin developers if their was some update to the plugin that disables the website signature.

Ok, the plugin developers found a problem with website signature and fixed it.Now, the webmasters here just have to replace the files.

This is a totally useful app. I just purchased the app on app world and I just have one question/problem,

Now and then when I goto click the forum icon to take me to the forums, sometimes it says problem connecting or something along them lines and wants me to change settings

I left it set to the auto, do I need to change it? When I'm at home I leave both my wifi and cell network on. This shouldn't effect it? Thanks for your time, shawn

I have mine set to auto and it works perfectly

I too have WiFi on when at home and do not get many problems i do have the occasional cannot connect message but i leave it for a few seconds and it corrects itself when it registers you do indeed have a data connection

That message will appear when the application couldn't communicate with the forum. Just wait a minute or two and it should connect.

That's what I thought it always does connect just takes a few seconds sometimes which is fine

Once you are connected everything should be pretty quick. Anytime it takes more than a few seconds then that means a timeout occurred. Once that happens the system will try and connect again.

Just some info.

Here are reasons a forum would give the connection message:

1. Forum disabled/deleted tapatalk plugin and forgot to remove listing from our forum database
2. The forum modified the tapatalk plugin and screwed something up
3. Their host is down
4. The web hosting service that hosts the forum for some reason will block blackberry phones because of BIS-B Proxy
5. App can't figure out how to connect from your phone

I have uploaded a preview version of the new tapatalk app. There is no functionality in the application except for search. One cool feature is being able to cancel what you just tried to do. I am currently trying to make the UI look as smooth as possible. All private build users will be able to access it.

Edit: I like the UI of the current version. I originally posted looks great, but after switching back and forth, I like current one.
