There's a feature I always thought the crackberry forum itself should have and it does not. The ability to go under your own profile and choose "view responses that quote your posts". However you want to say it, give a user the ability to easily follow up and respond to others that have responded to their posts.

Perhaps there is a way to search ones own posts like this.?? Anyhow it could just be a simple one click embedded link

speaking of tapatalk, I have a strange issue on my playbook. I have 2 tapatalk entries in appworld under "my world". one is where I just bought and installed the version in appworld (using it to post this). the other is the older original free version. the original free version has no "delete" option. how can I get rid of it?

That's when you go to participated threads. Easy to follow up.

Uninstall the paid version. Maybe it will pull the free one out.

That's not specific enough for what I mean. All "Participated Threads" does is show the thread titles. Then you select one and it takes you in to whatever the default spot is for thread entry -- last post on my setup.

I am talking more about something similar to a feature that is within the forum here, yet only partly useful. Notice if someone quotes you in a post, there is a little "Play" button marked "View Post". So let's say someone has quoted you on page 51 of a thread. But the original quoted post is on page 3. You just click it and it jumps you back to the other original quoted post. Well what if there was a list of all these instances where someone has quoted you -- under your profile. Linked so that you jump straight to their responses.

So what I am proposing is a way to click and jump to the exact point where someone has quoted your post, not just show a thread where you might have participated and been quoted 10 times, or not even quoted at all. In a participated thread you could post 10 times and yet be ignored.

Point being if someone quotes you then you can be most certain they are arguing a point against you or perhaps agreeing with you, etc. This is more relevant.

I am not sure that will be possible because of performance reasons.

I agree... It would be great if we can click "Like" and "Thanks" on posts from the app.

Definitely if the pm or inbox can show new likes received.

I do like the dark theme, not sure if you added any more I'd change but there's others above me that differ. Lol

Also I notice when I'm on wifi I get the connection error a lot asking to change preference so I back out of it and go back in and everything is fine. Don't see it as much on 3-4G

The major upgrade will come in separate small updates for the private build. I guess you could call it the "2.0" update.

The first small update will include an internal restructuring of the tapatalk directory apis(like searching for new forums).

The second small update will include an internal restructuring of the tapatalk forum apis(like replying).

The other small updates are yet to be decided.

Tapatalk won't be developing a client for windows phone as far as I know. However, I AM creating one called "My Forums".

There might of been a configuration conflict with the private build and appworld version.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you have the previous private build. 1.4.7.6 is the newest official release. Check out App World.

That is the thing. App world says 1.4.7.6 is what is installed. Tapatalk says 1.4.7.5 is what is installed in the app. I have the same issue

Also, I like the refresh within the thread, but now the refresh option within the forum has been removed. Anyway to have both?

It was already added to the latest update on AppWorld.

Running 1.4.7.5 on my Bold 9930. For some reason its not saving any history. Is this a permissions issue perhaps? When it asked for "Trusted Application" status on installing I answered "No". ??

    Thanks.

It's possible but there shouldn't be any reason.
