The app in mention is a siriusXM co release, I'm sure it will have a fee to go with it and use device information ro verify subscription status.

i see that Sirius is now charging $2.99 a month to listen via the internet. This must have changed pretty recently because there was no fee a few months ago. Too bad.
Sirius also now tacks on a Music Royalty fee. my subscription for one radio jumped $30 more a year. - 01-13-2010, 08:28 AM #8iTouch & EVO 4G

Yeah......with those, a 16gb card, and Moodio, I had no more reason to pay for my XM.....even with my customer retention rate.

Yeah, it sucks that they are charging a fee now, I liked it when you could listen online if you already had a xm subscription. :/
