I can't get bolt to cooperate. It won't let me type. I type letters and it shows numbers. opera mini seems to work just as before, for me anyway. I was hoping that one or the other would blaze on wifi, but it seems the same as full 3g.

Opera is good but its not built for storm so you lack easy use. Bolt does not currently work, at least for me, as far as typing. The default browser is slower than Opera, but its made for the storm so its alot easier to use. I guess its personal preference

opera 5 mini beta is a lot better for the storm 2 than the other browsers.

It's a bit odd but the keyboard pops up when you want to type so you dont need to hit the bb button everytime.

The typing uses multitouch even on the surepress keyboard so it needs a little getting use to but its loads better than the other OS' I have tried on the phone.

Agreed. I just got it installed on mine. much better then the Opera 4 stable version. Lightning fast, scrolling on complex website is a breather (which the storm 2 browser has huge problems with). Needed a battery pull after the install.

If you go into Bolt's options and check off "Inline Editing" the keyboard will popup and work properly.

I can't get opera mini 5 to install on my S2.
I just get a white screen with a red banner on top.
    Nothing else.

Do a battery pull. When it restarts you should be able to access the eula and get started

I couldn't get Opera to cooperate, but maybe I just gave up to it too soon. It was also transferred from my old device to my S2 when I switched everything from my old 8830. Maybe that was a problem. Since you guys seem to be able to get it to work, I'll give it another shot, as I love Opera - especially the ability to sync bookmarks from device to device.
