Accelodex is the best app for the storm hands down. It makes using your address book as fast as it can be without a keyboard.

Accelodex fixes a weakness in the storm core functionality. The other programs I heard mentioned are generic (and great) apps that are used on most BlackBerries, and not storm specific.

Accelodex, for me replaces the address book program. You can navigate to your contacts faster without needing to use the on screen keyboard.
