Many of the apps I used on my Tour don't seem available for the Storm 2 (i.e. WHERE and VIGLIO). Does anyone know if they cam still be used? They are not available in the blackberry apps store for me.

Give it some time for the developers of those apps to port it over so that they can be used with the S2...you have to remember that the S2 is running a new OS5 so not all apps will work but in the next few weeks i would imagine most if not the majority of apps will be compatible with the S2.

There's a WHERE version for the 9500/9530 S1 so, unless it's not 5.0 compatible, it should work on the S2.

No clue about Viglio.

How about 'Capture It.' It should definitely be there considering Sal suggested it in one of his Storm2 reviews.

This doesn't mean that the apps aren't compatible, just that developers haven't updated them to include the 9550/9520.

Give it a week and everything should get sorted out.

I am having the issue that some of the local news websites that offer shortcut icons are no longer being offered to me on my storm2. I could get them on my Storm1 running 5.0 os but not on the 2. I keep getting this message saying how to set it up through VCast video and don't want to be forced to using that app when I didn't have to before

do i have to be in the US for these to work?? i am in saudi arabia and noe of the apps are working on my S2...Viigo cant connect to the server...that was the latest I have tried.. weatherbug won't work either. any suggestions?
