Folks any suggestions for a good spreadsheet application to be used in 8520 curve. I need something to edit and create excel and word files.

Well Docs2Go has a standard version that should come free with your phone. It allows simple editting to be done. You could buy the premium version at around $60, this allows more editting functionality and creation of documents. You could also take a look at eoffice from Dynoplex. I think there is also an app called gridmagic although I have not tried it

Or you could create a blank spreadsheet on your computer, name it template.xls, move to the memory card and whenever necessary, use it for your needs. Then all you gotta do is Save as... and you have Docs2Go free creating new documents for you.
Of course, the Premium has a number of advantages over the free version...
