Good evening, has anyone had any problems with the Song Recognition App for the B-Berry Storm (Verizon Wireless)??? Mine just says it's listening and never does anything else... Help...

Is it Shazam? That is one of the only apps I have purchased for my BlackBerry, and I love it. I've never had a problem with it.

No, mine is Verizon Wireless' Vcast Song ID

Verizon has a free app called Vcast song ID. It works really well and I have yet to find a song it can't figure out and I tried really hard.

That's it LawP. But when I hit the song id tab it just says "listening" and never does anything...

Im not sure if it's the app or the phone. The Storm is very buggy. It has a mind of it's own...

Set the permissions for SongID to allow and it will work. It never made sense to me why they didn't just have it set to be done after installation.
