1) Highlight the desired tweet, but do not open it.
2) Press the menu button.
3) Press "Send To"
4) Select "Twitter"
5) Select "Tweet"
6) This will copy everything EXCEPT the person you are retweeting so you must add that yourself.

Ive noticed sometimes it will not let me do this. It seems if it is a new style Retweet, it wont work.
Yes, this is basically a copy and paste type of thing, but is a solution the same.
Most of the time, the person I have highlighted is still viewable in the background so you can easily remember how to spell their name.
