couldn't someone just create a web service where you could upload a jar/jad file or enter it's url, and ask for some basic info (to enter in the alx file), and then create the files for us. It would be more cross-platform.
Also I faked my user agent with firefix to get google's apps from m.google.com. I wonder if the same thing will work on the blackberry app world?

i know this is an old thread, but just in case anyone is still reading it, i need a way to convert .JAD files to .ALX files.. this program only does .JAR files.. help please?
You need to get the .jad and .jar files from your source. You then use the jar2alx program to convert the two files into the .cod and .alx files. Then you install the .alx file with desktop manager.

i tried 5 different games and only Namco.Galaxian.Mini.v1.0.1.Motorola.V600.J2MEv1.Re tail work all the others had weird errors or like EUROFUN.MADAGASCAR.v0.6.7.SAMSUNG.D600.J2Me.RETAiL actually loads to the main menu only , heres the phunny part , the music never stops even if you power off , you have to take the battery out.lol
