So what are the best fee & paid apps you have for your blackberry?
- I would agree free is definitely better .... but that may be the Yorkshire (UK) in me lol .... so far I have been very impressed with what is actually available for free if your happy to do some leg work …… I also agree 100% that favourites are subject to personal taste but as a newbie I am interested in hearing people’s opinion.
Ps thanks for sharing yours08-18-09 07:39 AMLike 0 - One of my best paid for apps was a theme, Corporate Goth. It is inverse video and shot my battery life up bigtime.
Corporate Goth Theme - Themes BlackBerry Apps - Crackberry BlackBerry Software Store08-18-09 08:02 AMLike 0 - Search is definitely your friend in this case. Here is a thread to get you started:

The three apps that I use the most are:
Documents to Go
Slacker Radio
SocialScope
An honorable mention goes to Ubertwitter. I use that when SS is being wonky.

Viigo is a news feed service. It is a memory hog and does create problems in using your BlackBerry. While I wouldn't crudely refer to it as "crap," it also isn't something I use or need.
Vlingo is a voice recognition app/service and is excellent. I highly recommend it and use it all the time.
Please don't fall into the trap of confusing these two very different programs. They are quite different.08-20-09 02:50 AMLike 0 -
- amazinglygracelessRetired ModPeople should note that there are two completely different apps out there with very similar sounding names ...

The fact that I spelled it right should have been a dead give away
I still crudely or not think it is total and absolute garbage.08-21-09 04:46 AMLike 0 -
Free:
1st. Opera Mini
2nd. BBnotepad
(by far)
Paid:
1st. Quicklaunch
2nd. PeekaWho
(again by far)...08-21-09 05:53 AMLike 0 - Wow... I have not looked at this thread in a while... get a little heated around here!!!
I actually like Viigo... I can check Weather around the World... did this for my step-daughter before she left for Egypt so she knew how hot it would be for the next week. And I use it to check stocks if I'm not at home. Plus sports for my favorite football team. This app can be very useful if all the settings are set correctly and you remove stuff you don't need or want.
That's just my 2 cents on this issue.08-21-09 06:33 AMLike 0 - Just downloaded another free app that I needed to mention
Which you will either wonder how you did without or have no use for what so ever.
Navita : Translator
Is piece of translation software that will translate any text you select in either an email, web page etc
It automatically detects what the language is your asking it to translate (Even Russian) and then translates it into either English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German or Italian
So far on the text I have tried it works fantastically and much better than other free translators I have tried online
Only really any use if you receive emails etc in multiple languages but if you do its a fantastic app08-21-09 07:06 AMLike 0 - Don't sweat it, AG. Berryite is always trying to start an argument with someone here in the forums on a daily basis. Sometimes I think that's her only goal here.08-21-09 11:34 AMLike 0
