This is a replacement phone due to my screen not clicking, it's updated at .75. It's going a lot slot and the app center will not close. I've tried a battery pull and a reset, no luck.

Did you disable the auto update in App center? Then close it normally.
That should close it out of the app switcher.

This has been asked probably at least a dozen times already. Search, SEARCH, SEARCH! Keep repeating that mantra until it sticks.

Nah, I disabled it but it's still running. When I click it on the app switcher it doesn't even come up.

disable auto update, yank your battery out, and problem should be fixed

to the jerks who keep mentioning search, WE DID!

I had to go to another forum to find the answer. Keep it up and eventually, you guys will be screaming at each other to "Search" while everyone else finds friendlier pastures to roam..........
