    I have a Verizon Tour running SP bold version and Sling Box AV.

    Sometimes it works great but most of the time it gets stuck on "optimizing."

    Anyone else having this problem? I tried everything on the forums so far. Any thoughts?

    Just deleted then reinstalled the app, and it is working again. I noticed that every now and then just delete and reinstall and it works again.

    Anyone find a real fix for the stuck on "optimizing" problem?

    I have the same problem using a cable box and I noticed if I leave my cablebox powered on, it works fine.

    I am using Slingplayer Mobile for Bold on my Sprint Tour and a Slingbox original classic. We always leave our cable box on, I thought you had to, to use Slingobx. I never have any issues with my slingplayer, it works great.

    I was having the same Issue, so now I have decided to leave my box on, or at least I can use another PC to log on via the web to power the box on if need be. Once you start slingplayer bold up on the tour, it says there is a new update. Has anyone updated to the newest player?
