I like Pandora better and I've tried both - Slacker appears to buffer rather than stream - and Pandora is a little more interactive in the fact that it tunes the music more to your personal style - but that is just my opinion...

i used to go with Slacker but it started acting up and going REAL slow. I then tried Pandora and love it so much more except for it draining the sh*t outta my battery!

I believe pandora just limits the amount of songs you can skip in an hour (6), but slacker I believe does the same thing? Anybody back me on that?

Pandora, It doesn't cripple the phone on my 9630 like Slacker is becoming known for...

I like Slacker's ability to cache stations to the media card. Saves on the buffering and battery drain.

I have an old 8820 set up for my daughter to listen to Slacker on Wifi. She loves it!

Pandora. If you have an 8320...you know you have limited memory...and slacker CRIPPLES your bb thatv you must hard reset. Don't think of having any open apps if you want slacker. Pandora is much lighter weight compared to 1.5 mb...as fo cache...naybe ill use slacker just before going on a plane...but the lag cannot be justified.

Streaming = unreliable and a serious battery killer...

That's why I use Slacker. Slacker never causes problems on the Bold, so if the 96xx is having problems then it must be something with the 96xx OS...

Edit: why no edit on wap?

Anyways...I also have nobex radio and flycast. They work as companions as they are radio stations.
