    I use iSkoot to have skype on my blackberry, graphics are poor but works perfectly, only uses mins from my contract ...

    You don't really want it. It wasn't real VoIP before and it still isn't... Just like I said before... It wouldn't be a "true" VoIP solution like it was intended to be when it was introduced in the PC world or on other platforms.

    Tested on my bold 9700 , app boots but get a notification saying it can only be used on verizon wireless.

    Well, I just did a battery pull on my Verizon 9630 and I don't see anything Skype. I try the OTA and get a message that my phone is not one of the correct phones!
