Just dl and read through VZW's terms and agreements, what's the point of having this if you can't use wifi

I highly doubt it, this was a version setup by Verizon from Skype, there is no "wifi" option and it strictly uses VZW network, at least according to the "tos" agreement.

I had to go to the Skype site to download it. Finally I have Skype IM and cheap international calling! Not to mention free skype to Skype calling.

I never got an icon pushed to my device but when trying to install I get teh same unsupported message.

Um No. Go to manage connections and turn off your 3g connection but leave wifi on. You will see that skype no longer works. 3g overrides the wifi

my question too.. whats the point of skype? i know it has free calling but seems like a pain to have to start an app to make a call?

or is there something about skype that i am missing?
