A while back I posted a forum entry on an article that offered up six cool, and perhaps more importantly FREE, BlackBerry apps.

Here's a follow up to that article with another half-dozen free apps, including voice search programs and an app to install and updates, as well as provide icons for, all of Google's mobile services.

I'm also a big Twitter fan, and I think the mobile Twitter client in the article might be better than the one I've currently got.

the one that has a icon on the bb homepage that looks like a sun or rain from the clouds, when i go to mobile.blackberry, i see the push weather it wont recognize the bronx, ny as my location, but i dont see where to download the app anyway

Weather Bug is an option, too, but it's not free. You can get a free trial for a month or so, though, I think.
