I enjoy long distance shooting and hunting, and instead of having to carry around a seperate PDA, I would prefer to use my blackberry. Anyways, there are no dedicated ballistics programs that I can find, but I woul dlike ot be able to calculate range. I wanted to know if there was a way so that I could input 2 variables, and have it plug them into an equation and spit out and answer, I could use the calc, but would prefer it to ask me the 2 variables and thats it... Here the equation, rather simple....

    (x[inches]/y[mil])*27.78= answer [in yards]

So, for instance, is I had a object that was 18 inches at 1.2 mil, the equation would be (18/1.2)*27.78.. And the answer would be 416.7 yards.

Is there a way for me to write a mini program that can do this?
