I've done searches for "shazam" and "Shazam" from my 9700 on Rogers and get no results.

Does is just not support the 9700 yet or is it gone?

It's definitely gone from the AppWorld. Search for it in the 3rd party blackberry apps section, should be able to find an OTA link for it.

Hrmm, I don't know if it helps you out, but I see it on my 9000, by doing a search in App World. If it works for the 8900 (same resolution), then I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be there.

I wonder if it's compatible with OS 5.0, and if App World is smart enough to know what phone/OS you're running, and filter out applications based on that.

An update, when I do open that on my phone it says "This application is not available on your device or for your carrier." So I guess it's not available for the 9700.

It does work on 5.0 OS I have it working alive and well on my 9700.

Yeah it works. I sorta have it running. Trial version anyways. Had it on my storm and been trying to do a pin swap. Its been painfully slow lol.

I have tried to download it several times but it seems to be blocked. The two programs I use the most. Shazam and Canada 411 are no longer available.
Any help would be appreciated.

its there just not for 9700/ apps that not supported supposedly for your 9700 will not show up if u do a search on your 9700 thru appworld
