am i the only one bothered that you can't do this from the FB app or mobile site? it would seem its the same case for iphone as i was asking a friend on that handset.

does anybody have a clue why this has not been introduced or as to why it can't be implemented?

i know it shouldn't bug me but it does. the only way can do it presently is to go to the full site in opera mini.

ps. i did ask the question in the native apps section but no one seems bothered to reply.

Probably because there are no Facebook app programmers here, or none of them want to answer your question, or they are busy working on the next release. Us normal users don't have the answer to your question. The ONLY ones that would are the app writers themselves or their supervisors. So what are the odds of one of them answering your question.... sounds like they are going to be VERY, VERY, VERY HIGH odds.

FB app is sub-standard
