    hey guys,
just got my torch yesterday afternoon (liking it)
I came from iphone and i guess i'm quite accustomed to a well rounded app store. (my last blackberry venture was a curve running os 4)
I was searching app world on my phone and i was having trouble finding apps i knew existed. Is anyone else having such an issue?
For instance, i'd type in shazam in the search bar, but it spits out Leave It On as the only result.
Also i tried searching for Berry Weather (an app that was recommended on another thread) and it gave me about 10 ambiguous apps, none of which was Berry Weather.
    Similar outcomes for Google Maps...

Is it perhaps that the app store is only seraching for apps compatible with the 9800? I beleive there are some app compatibility issues at the moment.

Some apps haven't been re written for OS6 yet.

Hometownhero is correct. I am running BerryWeather 2.2.01 and downloaded from the Crackberry Store. I am also running Google Maps which I downloaded directly from the Google page.

i was wondering how people have gotten those apps...

since they havent been rewritten, do they work at an acceptable level?

I'll probably just wait til they come out...

    Thanks for your replies!
