On Monday, May 7, 2012 Humanware, the creator of ORATIO screenreading software for BB devices (for visually impaired users), and RIM had simultaneous press releases announcing the ORATIO was no longer being sold or supported by Humanware, and that RIM is now providing a free download of screen reading software for the Curve model BBs. Does anyone know if this is the same software? Did RIM buy it from Humanware? The install and config instructions seem quite similar.

It seems very plausible, but I'm not sure.
I only hope that RIM expands the supported device list... My 9930 has a great screen which is bright and love being able to adjust the contrast/color... but as my vision worsens, I would love to start using a screen reader!
