Scoremobile updated 1.8.1 with BBM and BBID integration

Anyone else get this update?

I got one this afternoon and it had to download something for BBID and asked me to enter my BBID to link it to my BBM.

Not sure what the linking does though.

edit: in the share menu of the app, I can now Update my BBM personal message with a message from scoremobile with what i am following, Share the app across BBM and email.

For some reason, this update lost one of my favorite teams to set up notifications for. I had LSU set up as a favorite, but after the update, it's gone and it lost the ability to even look up college football as a league completely to set up a favorite team for game notifications. It still had the Saints from the NFL. But looking up leagues, only 9 of the 24 it normally has are even in the list.

Rebooting and a battery pull didn't help.

Wonder if it's just a new bug.

It promted me to connect my bbm to the app. I said okay. It tried to connect the two. Failed to connect and now I'm trying to find a way to re connect them. Tried testing the connection but it also failed.

Edit: Got it all sorted out. I was hoping there was more to the sharing then just updating what you are looking at and sharing the application. Unless I'm missing something.

Yeah They seem to work fine for me. I assume you're talking about push alerts, right? Mine weren't working after the update, but I deleted my teams and re-added them and everything is good. I was not prompted to connect with BBM though.

For some reason, Score got rid of all NCAA alerts! Sucks because I had several set up.

Never asked me for the BBID, maybe because I don't have anyone in BBM - since I don't use it.

Still can't add an NCAA Football team favorite for team alerts. All I get are MLB Baseball, NFL Football, NHL Hockey, NBA Basketball, Cope Am. Soccer, ELP Soccer, SERIEA Soccer, LIGA Soccer, Champions Soccer, MLS Soccer. That's it. That's just 10 (I know I said 9 in my previous post - I miscounted)

Can anyone else see more leagues?

As I posted earlier, I had "game start/end" team alerts set up in the previous release, but as neither college, or NFL has played a game yet this season, I don't know if it works.

Just to make sure I understand correctly (playing dumb), if you set a push alert (after connecting your ID), you get those alerts, even if Score is not open, right?

And does anyone else have any concerns about someone other than yourself and RIM having the BBID (assuming it is stored in an encrypted form)?

I would rather not provide that info to Score if there is a risk of compromise......

I see 27 different leagues/sports/organizations etc...EPL, COP-AM, UGA, IPL, ICC, WTA, TDF etc.....

The BB ID link is that you can share your status message right through BBM in the scoremobile app. It also allows you to "share" the app with someone in BBM. You can notify a BBM contact that this app exists and they should also use it (like recommending it).

Once you log into the BB ID and allow Scoremobile to intergrate in BBM , you can hit the menu button while in the app and select share. This will bring up the screen to either update your BBM message or share the app.

No new leagues are in this update. As far as picking a favorite team in a league i thought you could only do so once the app reconizes the matches?? (i could b wrong).

Never had the no alert problem until today. Yankees are playing and I have not gotten a single alert.

I need/want to upgrade my ScoreMobile but can't find out where. There is no "check for upgrade" within ScoreMobile on my phone. Before upgrading to OS5 I had an icon I would open and it showed all the apps I downloaded from CB and I could get my upgrades from there. Now that's missing and I hate using App World. Help! Now that the NFL is back on track I need my ScoreMobile.

I do have BBM and use it and it never asked me to provide anything...but anyway it only works for BBM 6 and I only have 5.0.3

So now with BBM6 installed, the ScoreMobile app asked to verify and align itself with BBM.

Ditto. I have all leagues available in the main menu/screen of the app, but only the following 10 available to the "add team"/alert section:

- MLB
- NFL
- NHL
- NBA
- Copa Am. Soccer
- EPL Soccer
- SERIEA Soccer
- LIGA Soccer
- Champions Soccer
- MLS Soccer
