I'm sure many of us could write such an app, myself included, in one of two ways. Just having it let you select the colors and then tell you the resistance would be faster and cost less, but if you want the app to start the camera and let you just take a picture of the resistor and then read the bands for you, that would take longer and cost more.
How many people would buy something like this and how much would they pay?
