I just found this and thought I'd share. If this is common knowledge, oops.

If you go to options, advanced options, applications, press the blackberry button and select 'modules' you can go in and remove most of the excess junk that at&t installs that you can't delete, like 'shop ringtones', 'get att navigator', etc. I usually throw all that junk into an at&t folder, but thought that was kinda cool.

I was able to get rid of 15 - 20 things that I'm sure were just wasting space and memory.

    Running 5.0.0.93.

i was under the impression that all that stuff will once again reappear when service books are sent to your device next.

i think keeping them hidden is probably the best bet..

They come back, they always come back like a bad cold. Just hide them and you won't have to deal with them

My solution to unwanted apps is to alphabetize them. Yup. I have every singe home-page icon alphabetized by an intuitive name, so that when I scroll through things I know where I am. So, Facebook under F, Calendar under C, Oanda Currency Converter under C, Berrytorch under F (flashlight), etc.. Then the END of the alphabet is where the bloatware goes.

Well, don't be discouraged. You do not regain the memory for usage.
