Hi,
I have read through and found suggestions for other versions of BB, but not the storm.

I have a Blackberry Storm.
I am unable to read documents sent via email. They come in as winmail.dat
I am sending them from my outlook 2007 account.

My carrier, Telus, has told me it is an issue with outlook and found a workaround by changing my settings in outlook to send as plain text.

I am not able to receive docs from other users though, without asking them to adjust their settings as well.

Does anyone know of another work around on my Storm that I could view all .docs and .docx from any source.

Do a Google search on Winmail.dat to learn more about this file. It is an attachment generated by Outlook in some cases. Often between Exchange and Lotus Notes. I wont go into the gory details, but suffice to say it is not something you can open. It is not a document.
