I've been trying to get my hands on an RBC app for my Bold 9780, but the one that comes up in the App World says it isn't available for my device.

Any reason why I'm excluded? I think it'll work on the 9700, which is pretty much an identical device.

Yeah, some apps are like that. My bank's app was like that too: out for the 9700, but not the 9780. It wasn't an OS5 vs. OS6 issue either, because my app was approved for the 9800. And when I got a copy and loaded it on my 9780, it worked flawlessly.

So I advise you to get a copy of the app, and load it through your phone in a way that doesn't involve App World.

Suggest providing feedback to the company via the appworld link or email address. I had a similar situation with Scotiabank not offering their app outside of Canada (I'm living outsideof Canada for a period of time) and when they realized someone wanted it they made it available within a week or two.
