This Update is for 85xx devices running OS 5. If you do not have OS 5 do not install this update!

    **************************************
    Very Important! READ THIS FIRST!!!

    * If purchasing QL for the first time make sure you select the correct version for download.

    * If you are switching from a different device in the manner described below make sure you specify the correct version.

    * If you are upgrading make sure you download the correct version depending on your OS. You will have to contact mobihand/crackberry support in the manner described below if you have changed your OS since you originally purchased QuickLaunch.

    **************************************

Note: YOU MUST SET ALL PERMISSIONS TO ALLOW AFTER INSTALLATION FOR THIS RELEASE TO WORK PROPERLY!

Go to Options, Applications, QuickLaunch. Highlight QuickLaunch; don't click it.
Hit the menu key. Select Edit Permissions. Set ALL permissions to Deny. Save. Then set ALL to Allow. Then save. Then pull the battery.

If you are a current owner of QuickLaunch for a device other than the 85xx and you wish to load the 85xx version on your 85xx phone and you did NOT purchase from Blackberry App World you must sign in to your account page and do a 'device switch'. If you have problems switching device types contact mobihand support here: Smartphone Software and Accessories- MobiHand Software Store Support
and then click on the link that says 'Contact Us'.

    New Features in 3.7:

    Auto Fill
Auto Fill allows you to set up text that you can insert into any app. Once configured (in QL Options) a system menu entry will appear. Position the cursor on any input field and select 'QL Auto Fill' from the menu. Choose one of your configured entries and the text is filled in for you.

This feature is ideal for website userid's and passwords! Sign in to your email account or forums much quicker with Auto Fill!

    * Auto Fill entries are stored and backed up in an encrypted format for security

    * You can set an optional password for using Auto Fill for security which can be set to "Never", "Always" or time based.

I've received intermittent support; I receive an email asking for my PIN (wtf? it hasn't changed, and is in my account), get a "new" code the next day, which doesn't work either. I get random "PIN has been reset" emails after I get other auto-generated emails telling me I can't "change my PIN" (don't need to, again, WTF).

I just followed their instructions AGAIN and neither of the two activation codes I've received numerous times doesn't work.

Again: WTF. The old version didn't have any of these problems, and it's not like I haven't been patient, here....

Nice! I was worried that after the update I was going to get charged for this upgrade so I didn't even check my CB mobihand account. The email I was sent said that minor upgrades were free but anything else would come at a price. Having purchased mines the first of this year it looks like a made the April dead line by a country mile!

    Can't wait to try v3.

that email you received is the same email everyone receives for every updated app on mobihand. and that's not quite what it says. it states that updates to whatever app etc etc are usually free but major updates MIGHT have a charge.
it's a standard email generated by mobihand and does not reflect opinions or policies of any specific developer.

I have NO problem with QL; I encountered a few bugs configuring it that a battery pull didn't fix, so I deleted/reinstalled the app and now the activation code doesn't work and getting mobihand to actually address the problem/follow up on it is an exercise in frustration.

Again: I encountered bugs, which hopefully would be resolved with a batt pull/reinstall/minor update, but when it takes over a week to get a G-D activation code (that I shouldn't need), it's a bit much. This isn't the developer's fault, it's mobihand.

I wouldn't care if this was a fart generator app, but it's an app that I use extensively.

The DEVELOPER worked with me patiently via email to get it activated, and I'm very appreciative. Tomorrow, I'll be at work, bored, and have several hours to check out the new features.

QL is truly my one must-have app.

Mobihand support is worthless, however. Auto-reply emails and no follow up is enraging.
