I have setup the apps I want to appear on the quicklaunch list, and have setup keyboard shorcuts for them


Example, I set FLA as the shortcut to the flashlight, but when I type fla on the keyboard it just takes me to universal search and stars looking for FLA


What is the correct way to use the shorcuts that I created?

Nevermind, I figured it out

It appeared that I had to click QuickLaunch once, then when I get the list of apps, I must type the shortcut there

Gotta open QL to use it. The advantage is that you can launch QL from any function, and the return to where you were. I use FF for flashlight, less keyboard reach and easier to use one-handed. You want a handy QL tip? Try the Web Search feature. Unlike the Native Go To, it recognizes Word Substitution or AutoText. It also allows you to select your search engine before you hit enter. QL also let's you select up to 4 functions per convenience key. Very handy for those of us that only have one key.
