I did a total backup a few days ago. Now, yesterday, I installed the Amazon MP3 upgrade, and, like everyone else with an OS7 device who did that upgrade, I lost the use of that app. I was wondering, if I ran a restore from BB desktop software, would it reinstall my old version?

I'd say most likely it will not. But since we don't have other options give it a shot.

If you delete the new version from your BlackBerry and do a battery pull, AND if you have the old version on your PC, then yes, that will work.
