Is their a way I can put a app from my download folder and put it on my home screen...Thanks

Sure! Just open your download folder, move your track pad over the app, click the bb button (menu button) and choose MOVE TO FOLDER. When the list comes up, choose HOME and click the track pad. The icon will move to the home screen and you can reposition it from there.
