I have both Poynt and Where apps downloaded. Like them both. They seem to, essentially do the same thing. Where offers weather which gives it a slight edge for me. I like Poynt a bit more cosmetiacally but wish it had weather. I actually emailed Poynt the other day to see if/when they could/would add weather. They actually emailed me back the next day saying they would forward my request onto the proper department. Pretty cool!

So, who's usinmg which one? Which one is better and why? Just wondering...

I prefer Poynt, it always works flawlessly for me and locks onto my gps location instantly. I don't need weather as I have BB Weather, but I could see where that would be a plus

I use Poynt for mostly everything. I only use Where for the Gas Prices and Traffic, and I used the Starbucks thing once. Everything else (look up businesses, movies, etc) I use Poynt, it has a much better interface and like cannon said, the gps locks on immediately.

I tried both out and prefer Poynt. The interface is so much nicer and I have BB Weather to take care of that bit.

Also use neither... Tried them both would rather use VZnavigator for $9.99 a month where everything to me is easier to find. Those programs seemed like a lot of work especially Where.

I use Poynt and WeatherEye since Where is still not available for Canadian users.

I like poynt. I have a separate weather app so that is not an issue

Is there any benefit to either program if one already has Sprint Navigator? More accurate/comprehensive results or some such thing? I find I'm not really even using Google Maps anymore...

I, too, use and love Poynt. I'm a big fan of the interface and it has everything that I was looking for in a Local Seach app. (I also use and love BerryWeather for, well, weather...I prefer a separate weather app.)

Wow. Poynt takes the cake easily. I have both downloaded but I think it's time to dump Where and go strictly with Poynt and grab bb weather. I tried bb weather demo and liked it. Didn't like the 10 bucks to get it. Not for the money so much but because it kills me that there are other free weather apps out there but they just stink!

BB Weather is 10 bucks? Coulda fooled me...I downloaded it a bit ago and it didn't ask for any money. Maybe my version is old? I have 0.89.1...

BB Weather and BerryWeather are two different weather apps. One is free (BB Weather) and the other cost ~$10 (BerryWeather).

My google days are over for good.
When it comes to weather app my signature says it all.
