I plugged my BB Storm (9530) into my wall charger last night and woke up to a white screen giving the App Error 523. I attempted to use the JL_cmder thing but it won't open and work after I load it on my computer....I also tried the alternative way to clear your phone (typing commands into DOS prompt) but that didn't work either (computer couldn't find "Research In Motion" ?!?!)..... UGH I need assistance please!!!

Third: do you have the latest OS?

Thank you....I have taken the battery out and rebooted it quite a few times but it restarts only to display the white screen once again. I don't know if I have the latest OS or not....

Thanks, I did....here's the problem, I'm not finding the app loader (or even the folder it's supposed to be in) even though I've reloaded os to my computer!!

Isn't the app loader installed when you install desktop manager? Try that.

If you have not done so, go to either rim or your carrier's bb site and download the OS for your phone. Then run that program on your computer. It will install the OS. That should then provide you apploader.

On Vista 64, App Loader should be located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

On XP systems, it will be here:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
