    Hello!

    I've been trying to figure out what's been going on with my phone and Google sync. I downloaded the application straight after getting my BlackBerry (Curve 8900) and it worked fine: the automatic sync operated both ways for the calendar and the contacts. Wonderful.

    But now it doesn't sync automatically at all and, when I try and get to sync manually, it gets through syncing the calendar but then can't get through the contacts. Something about no wireless connection, but that can't be true since my emails, internet and messenger service are all working. My WiFi is activated...

    I have tried:

    (1) Signing out and signing into Google sync
    (2) Uninstalling and reinstalling Google sync
    (3) Battery pulls
    (4) Fiddling with settings on my email and calendar on my PC
    (5) Talking to my network provider (Vodafone UK) over the phone and in-store

    Nothing works! I really can't think of anything else I could do!

    If anyone can give me a definitive answer about what to do so everything works again as it should, I will be very happy!

    My advice is to give up on the frustrating Google Sync/Google Calendar tandem - they are seriously flawed programs.
