While browsing the 9850 Pictures, I noticed a new icon on the very top labeled "Explore Picture Apps". This brought me directly to AppWorld with a listing of relative applications. (cool feature BTW).
The top listed application is called Photo Studio. An application that allows you to edit/customize your pictures right on the device. You can add borders or frames, etc.

Upon installation and subsequent restart of the device, the application functioned as described. The next morning however, I noticed I was not able to 'pinch-to-zoom' on BB Maps any longer. The application appeared to be stuck in 'Pan Mode' regardless of settings.
When I checked photos in my SD Card, the feature also appeared to no longer function.

Upon removal of the application and restarting the device as instructed, the pinch-to-zoom feature has been restored to my device.

Any thoughts as to why something like this would happen?
