Would this download as 1.6.0.22 for 5.0 users? If not does anyone have that alx and CODs?

Someone help me?
I deleted FB 1.7.0.18, downloaded these files and installed them using DM. When I hit the FB icon it launches the browser and tries to download 1.7.
The 1.6.0.21 app is showing in options/advanced/applications. Where is it? How do I launch it? Have I missed a step?? - 10-21-2009, 12:25 AMThread Author #11
Try deleting the facebook app on your BB, and on DM. then reinstalling it. or you can try loading it through BBSAK choose install COD and ovewrite it. cheers.

Sure Trev. This is what I did and I have an 8350i with DM 5.0.0.11 and software 4.6.1.204 with Boost.
1. I made sure 1.7 is uninstalled by going to Advanced Options > Applications (delete it from there if it still shows).
2. I downloaded the file then extracted the contents (it's a RAR file so use winrar or 7zip or something...you're on your own on this step).
3. I Connected my BB to my PC via DM and went to Application Loader. I double checked to make sure "Facebook" is not showing on the list of installed programs.
4. Went to Application Loader > Add/Remove Applications, then went to "Browse" and pointed it to the folder where I extracted
the FB 1.6 files. I selected to open the facebook.alx file then clicked Next.
5. It showed a screen saying it's going to install Facebook. I clicked Finish and disconnected my BB from my PC. I checked all the folders and found it in the Applications folder. - 10-21-2009, 01:20 AM #14
thanx u geniuses !!! i got it !! and im gonna save that file so i wont be facebookless anymore !!! u guys helped !!! i had to erase 1.7 and do a batt pull than it all worked like u said !!! thanx again xxxjabxxx & bolex17 !! ill be on here from now on as ur guys understudies !! nahh j/k !! lol ! keep up the good work !

hi, what is BBSAK ? I've tried to load via DM but doesn't work. Actually I erased 1.6 and upgrade to 1.7 and failed to connect so I wanna 1.6 back but it says my devise does not support.....

Look for it in folders. Mine was in the applications folder.
BB Swiss Army Knife-BBSAK.
Remember, if you installed 1.7 you MUST uninstall it via Advanced options > Applications then do a batt pull before installing 1.6. I posted step by step what I did in my last post.

Yap I do follow your instruction and when I check it in the application FB 1.6 is already installed but as I said the icon is not appear everywhere cause 8820 doesn't have folder as in bold or yours type. Shall I install it again and do batt pull beforehand? Where I can get bbsak? thanks..

Double click on the .rar file. The window come up, on the top of that window, there is an EXTRACT Button. AFter you click EXTRACT, a box comes up. That is the direction where the files in the folder will extract to. Change the direction of the file. To somewhere that you can find it easily.
I would suggest putting onto your Windows Desktop, at the very end of that line you put a \Facebook. After you hit "Next" (or similar), it will extract all the necessary installation files to that folder.
Plug BB into yoru computer and start Desktop Manager.
Click on Remove/Install apps, after it does it thing, click on "Browse", and browse to your desktop/Facebook Folder and double click on the .alx and it will install it onto your phone.
