Sorry if this has been asked before.

After upgrading an OS, is it normal to have to re enter registration codes for purchased 3rd party Applications and set them up again from scratch?

I recently upgraded my OS and had to re-entger the details and set up all the settings for berrybuzz and quicklaunch.

I want to say I did for a couple, but not all, of my 3rd party apps. Since I didn't back any of them up, I was just pleasantly surprised to see them there.

    Thanks BT.

Is there a way to back up the apps in such a way as to avoid this problem?

Edit: Not sure why that link breaks. Go to the 185 instructions in my sig and click on the back up 3rd party apps link.

Hmmm unfortunately after restoring the apps I still have to enter the reg codes, re set up etc.
