Ok, so I got my replacement phone today [8520] with OS 4.6 & was thinking of upgrading to OS 5.0 [411]. Here comes the "dumb" question... when I order apps/themes from Crackberry obviously my device will no longer match my operating system, sooo do I order things for a 8530? I really don't want to screw this phone up by doing something I'm not sure of. Also, after I upgrade, what happens to the apps/themes that are OS v4.6? Do I delete or what? I tried searching for an answer but after an hour I gave up.Thanks for any help or answers!

Themes made for a lower OS will usually work on a higher OS. I have some themes for 4.6 8520 on my 8530 currently.
Apps are generally the same as well though sometimes they can be incompatible with the new OS. Hopefully any apps you paid for, the creator will be kind enough to allow you to upgrade if this is the case.

Thanks soo much for your help, it's really appreciated!! Now I can install 5.0 without worrying about something screwing up the OS. I'm starting to get the hang of this!

Apps from App world or CrackBerry can be downloaded and reinstalled once you enter your new device information in your account. New registration codes will be given for activation.
