New to blackberry and was considering between 9300 and 9780. I read that 9300 can be upgraded to OS 6 so all the apps that can be run on bold 3 can also be run on 9300 ?
Also I read the review on gsmarena but no one mentioned anything about the document editor ? Does 9300 supports document editor with docs to go or any other ? If the OS is same (ver 6) then all aps should work ?
Apart from the 5 mp camera and better resolution what are the differences between the two ? Is 9780 way too faster than 9300 ?
Anyone used both the phones ?
Thanks for the time guys. This forum is so full of information on BB. After reading a lot i thought of choosing between 9300 and 9780.
I also started a thread on 9300 forum but then thought it shud better be posted here. @ mods pls delete the other thread.
With 9780 over 9300, you get a much superior (cam + flash), better display rez, lots more memory & storage, much better battery life with approx 50% more battery, much better ergonomics & feel, etc. etc.
The Bold-3 is just a much superior device. So get that!
its also expensive.. 9300 costs rs.13500 and bold 3 costs 21500. I dont really need cam and flash stuff. I am just in it for the apps and utility. If it supports os6 then it shud also support all apps.
i read bold 3 has more power under its hood so it it will be faster than 9300. i will read some more i think before making the decision.
If your looking for a cheap device that can run os 6 I would say that the curve wins, if you have the money bold is def better but 9300 should be good for what you want to do
You may want to consider looking at the bold 9650 its an older device so you may be able to find one cheap and its capable of running os 6

U are in India - just buy the 9300 3G and be happy for all it does! And make sure u buy a phone imported & marketed by Redington, giving you 18-Months warranty. It would be an "Unlocked phone".
