i just discovered this after using OM for 2 months. Please don't flame me if it's well known, lol. Just wanna put it out there. i use OM for larger sites that blackberry browser cannot handle so there tends to be a bit of scrolling involved.

i just discovered that instead of scrolling up or down which takes you line by line you can also scroll LEFT and RIGHT which will take you up and down in much larger jumps, page by page i believe.

Anyway, i think it's cool and convenient!

    Thanks for bringing this up

Oh so the L/R scroll only works with OM? Tried with BB browser it didn't work.

Yes, just with OM, does this work.

With the BB browser you can use the space bar to scoll page by page or B for Bottom and T for Top.

The space bar, B T J K are actually the first ones I remember from the oh so many shortcuts they put in the manual (kinda proud of it, at least I did *parts of* my homework). Just thought it would all be the same with 3rd party apps, silly me

Now I just have to see if the other applications I installed behave differently.

You can also use the 2 and 8 buttons to page up/page down.

I just downloaded 4.1 (i think) yesterday. I haven't played with it yet but it sooo different from the earlier version I had - and it looks to scroll up and down by page now.

    I played with it and got rid of 4.1. I re-downloaded 3.2.

You can press 4 and 6 to scroll left and right or 2 and 8 to scroll up and down, when scrolling down it takes you to the next "batch" of text

Being able to use the #'s is a huge timesaver! I'm new to opera and when I go to a page for some reason it loads to the bottom of it and have to scroll to the top. I'm guessing this isn't normal....is there a fix?
