Hi, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, kinda new to the whole BB experience. But I recently came across this browser, the Opera Mini, and tried searching for it in the forums for some info. I wanted to find out if anyone knows if its a good/better browser than the one already on the 8320 Curve...ty in advance

Yeah, there are a million threads about Opera (and Bolt). I've tried both and I would recommend both HIGHLY over the native browser on the BB.

I decided to stick with Opera simply because it seemed to run faster on my BB, but I really liked Bolt too. Some even have both installed. But yeah, give Opera a try...you won't be disappointed.

Check out these threads for some opinions on both the Bolt and Opera Mini browsers! Both are free so you can try them out and decide which (if any) you like. i prefer Bolt for larger sites but i have Opera Mini as a backup and use BlackBerry browser for mobile sites.

Opinion is pretty evenly split.

I use Opera because it give me some access to websites that the normal BlackBerry browser has trouble operating around. For one I use Black Board for my school and the standard browser won't let me log into it. Opera does let me. I do find Opera hard to figure out and navigate for awhile. I downloaded it as a new BlackBerry user and it took me awhile to just figure it out enough to get somewhere. This is just me, maybe you will enjoy it. I hear people like Bolt too. Let us know how things work out or if you need help.
