I've had my 9700 for a few months now and have noticed that sometimes the Opers browser will freeze randomly. The only thing that seems to fix it is either a soft reset or a batt pull. Never had the issue on my old Pearl 8100. I'm running Tmobs .714, although it did the same thing on .330. And Opera 5.0.

    Just wonderin. Thanks folks!

The freeze happened to me too when I was still using 9000 but not a common occurrence. It hasn't happened on my 9700 yet. Make sure you are using the latest version.

Maybe a bad install? Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling

Even though slightly buggy, I'd take opera over bolt any day. Tried to like bolt at least 6 times and have deleted it every time.

Opera 5.1 is available so it doesn't sound like you have the latest version.

Yes Opera 5.1 does freeze sometimes, and it requires a reboot to get it out of memory.
