Hold your finger on the bookmark for a bit and the menu will pop up
    Thanks!!

Do I need to get rid of the old browser for it to work properly? Would it make a difference?
No. no reason to delete it.

so far so good on my 5.0.0.191 9530. I cant figure out how to log in to get my opera bookmarks though. Or anyway to save/back them up. It does have flick scrolling, if you can call it that. Great UI!

When installing make sure you reboot before opening the app, I found it to give me problems if I didnt.

I download it and it didn't take the first time. Second time was the charm. It's very smooth looking and still fast and liking the new features...

Just downloaded for the Storm 9500, pages very slow to load/use, and the screen does not need to be depressed to select a link or character, which kind of defeats the purpose of the storms screen, don't like that, but it looks awesome and once it has all the kinks worked out, I'd say it'll be sweet!

It is difficult to hit that little X, yes... it seems to think more that you want to change to that tab more often than not.

I miss being able to drag the bar up and down the screen... much faster scrolling that way.

How I finally got Opera Mini 5 Beta working on BB Storm 9530 - 5.0.0.191

    1) Options, Applications, Opera Mini 5 Beta, Edit Permissions, Apply Defaults

    2) Options, Applications, Opera Mini 5 Beta, Delete

    3) Battery Pull

    4) Install Opera Mini 5 Beta, Trusted Application

    5) Battery Pull

Good to go!!! This browser is INCREDIBLE compared to stock BB browser. This is probably overkill, but it's the only solution that worked for me.

    Good luck!

I wish the click worked and that it was a little more finger friendly in some areas but overall I REALLY like it. I didn't use Opera before but now its staying.

i love this beta. great ui. great speed. the new speed dial is great. i cant see how anyone likes the blackberry browser over opera 4, 5, or even bolt. the blackberry browser is so slow, its no comparison.

It works fine on my 8900. It a great BETA but its slower than the 4.2 and it won't allow me to play youtube videos. Also I wish it would allow you to save pictures from a website on my media card instead of just saving the page on the opera mini, but overall it works fine

I can not get this beta to work, an it sucks. Here is where I am at.

Downloaded an installed thru the the DM, no go

deleted both old an new, reinstalled OTA an still no go.

It opens I get a message about it wanting to gather info about my fonts and it gives me a progress bar.

That finishes and I get the bluebackground
white box with red opera mini 5 beta banner on top of the box.

cant access anything can only back out of it. Have no way toactually close it

back out go back in an get a couldnt load error

says the app will exit please try again.

BUT THE DAMNN APP DOESN'T exit

this sucks anyone else having the same problem,?

When I got a smrtguard email asking me to update I did get the Open with Opera option. I think thats a nice feature but I also want my Open in browser option because the email was to update to the new smrtguard 1.99 and when i tried to install an app with opera it did not work. I suppose it was a bad first email to test out the open in opera option anyways..

No it does not and I think it was designed that way. I believe you are suppose to use the navigation bar on the bottom of the screen for all your menu needs. The wrench icon has most of the options you will need, including the exit key
