Opera Mini 4.2 problems
I read a lot of good reviews about Opera Mini 4.2 on BB Storm (it doesn't support Storm explicitly, had to install version for BB 8830), but I was quite disappointed when I installed and try it.
Webpage rendering is great, but I had following problems that made me to uninstall it again:
- keyboard doesn't show/hides automatically, you have to explicitly show/hide it
- I cannot type numbers to web address
- I cannot change most of the Opera options
Did I install wrong version? Anybody knows if we're going to get a storm specific update? What is your experience? - 06-25-2009, 02:11 PM #2

A lot of the problem with Opera is that the program isn't touch screen optimized. It doesn't auto-load the keyboard, for instance, because it expects a physical one. The options can be changed, but you have to tap very precisely (and even then it doesn't always work out).
As for numbers in the URL, disable the autocomplete option.OS: 5.0.0.419 + shrink

The storm should have a quote engraved on it: Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate...

Yup. This fixes several problems. Find "disable auto-complete" in Opera settings from menu.As for numbers in the URL, disable the autocomplete option.
