    My phone bleeps after like 20 to 40 mins after sumone has done smoething on my facebook etc is this normal or should it be near enough right away it informs me?

    Sometimes even longer for me. I hate it. Sometimes it's immediate, 5 min lag, or 1 hour.

    I think it is highly correlated to the email account that you are getting your facebook notifications.

    I have mine set up through a gmail account and use the facebook app and it's pretty much instant for me.
