Can anyone point me out to a simple Note taking app (not unlike the one that BB already has) but that can do such a simple task as counting the number of characters?
I manage a Facebook page, and the post limits are 420 characters. It would be nice to be able to count the notes I'm writing before sending them, as Facebook rejects the ones over 420 characters in lenght.
You could write it out as an SMS message and then cut and paste. The SMS app gives you a running count of characters typed.
Thought about that, actually.
But the SMS app only gives me a countdown of available characters (per SMS). We're talking about 160 characters going down for the first SMS, then 145 characters going down for the second SMS, and so on... it's just a big mess.
