hey guys!
if one of my facebook friends posts something on my wall via iPhone facebook app, I won't get a notification through the native bb facebook app. why? does anyone know how to fix this?

At the moment I don't think there is a fix.

The FB app works on notification emails generated and sent by Facebook but when someone posts using Facebook for iPhone or Facebook for Android although it notifies you on Facebook itself it fails to send the email that an ordinary wall post would generate.

I have all my Facebook notifications set to on so I get the emails for everything except iPhone and Android app wall posts.

This is something you'll need to address with Facebook and isn't a Blackberry problem.

It is a known issue with older FB versions and BB OS's. the latest version of FB on the 9700 works fine.

But for me, with every notification on, I do not get an email in my mailbox when someone posts with iPhone or Android and without that email the Blackberry app will not notify you of the Wall Post.

I have the latest Orange OS on my Bold 9700 and the latest FB app but still get no automatic notification either in my email inbox or my Facebook app.

This is also an issue for iPhone users funny enough. I have a friend with an iPhone and his app also doesn't notify him if someone writes on his wall using the iPhone app.

Definitely a Facebook issue this one.
